The residents of this sparsely populated village live along a long rural road in Far Eastern Russia.
Located more than 19km from the nearest cellular BTS they suffered for years from very low signal level and limited communication abilities even when they went outdoors.
The poor coverage of this 19 kilometers distant village was resolved with minimal CAPEX and zero additional OPEX merely by switching from a traditional panel antenna to a truly very high gain very narrow beam VEGA antenna at 900MHz.
This way the Russian Far East operator provided excellent broadband Cellular service to a remote, low Erlang community. See before & after drive tests results below.
