Only Very High Gain VEGA Antenna can provide good quality coverage over 32 km section of Highway
The use of very high gain, very narrow beam X-pole VEGA antennas by Comarcom as a solution to long highway coverage issues goes back the first application in the high Andes mountains in 2005. Since then we have seen many such applications in over 50 countries.
The implementation of very high gain VEGA antennas as a means of covering more highway miles with less towers comes with an added bonus. Due to its narrow beam it is less susceptible to spatial interference resulting in better service for users in fast moving vehicles.
This new addition is noteworthy due to the extra-long distance successfully covered. As shown in the simulation, one base station tower with back-to-back VEGA CC-12 antennas at 900MHz band is serving over 60 kms of highway as well as the parallel running rail line with less towers!
